New nest boxes along the side of the mobile hen house encourage a safe, clean place to lay the daily eggs. The hens love hopping up on the ledge to get away from the others for a little while each day.It also is much nicer for the egg-gatherer to collect eggs at waist level rather than bending down and around at ground level.
